As IFF screening
Unfortunately, Alice was unable to attend the festival and see herself on the big screen as Anna May-Wong in To Die or To Dream (directed by Peiling Kuo). She didn't win best actress either, but it was an absolute honour to be nominated alongside screen veteran Melissa Leo, and to lose alongside her as well.
