Gene Tree

My artistic home St Martins is making a great work with some of my favourite young people and I’m thrilled to be invited back every once in a while to help them. This is going to be a magnificent work and I can’t wait for you to share it in nature, at the Royal Botanical Gardens. This is such a beautiful show, and I can’t believe I’ve had the priviledge of watching these babies grow up. Can you tell I love them dearly?

Pram People development

We’ve begun our developement of Pram People and hanging out the the wonderful Venny drop-in centre. Here’s Nick as a pom pom swan, as is his want. Can’t wait for this show to blossom into something very very special

39th Green Room Awards Ceremony

Genuinely can’t believe this is something that I get to add to my resume. Creative director of an awards ceremony.

Except I’m sure that other directors of awards ceremonies are not in charge of personally making the envelopes that get opened by the presenters. Wildly successful night and wildly exhausting. I am incredibly proud and will likely never do this again. Amongst my proudest decisions, to have the Western Edge Sub 30 crew be my charismatic hosts, Jennifer Ma and her dancers, trophies made of recycled materials from old sets. It’s my hopes and dreams of a new era of the GRAA.

Laurinda

I’ve been priviledged to have been in the room for Laurinda at MTC as cultural consultant. To be surrounded by an immense team of Asian Australian artists. It’s been quite the privilege.

Make sure you catch it this August.
